While Taylor Swift has spent ten weeks at the top, other artists have also found success on the chart including Sam Smith who spent three weeks in the number one spot. Ariana Grande and Maroon 5 have both spent two weeks each at the top. Can Taylor be stopped though?
You’ll remember, when Taylor released her new album ‘1989’ which boasts the hits, ‘Shake It Off’ and ‘Blank Space’ that it never made it onto streaming service Spotify.
Taylor had previously featured on the music streaming service and the decision to not include her new album was an odd one for many.

Speaking about the praise from her peers she told The Hollywood Reporter: “I didn’t think that it would be shocking to anyone.”
“With as many ways as artists are personalising their musical distribution, it didn’t occur to me that this would be anything that anyone would talk about.”
“But I could never have expected so many text messages, emails and phone calls from other artists, writers and producers saying thank you.” What do you think, was it a good move?
