He congratulated the fresh students for making the total of the overall 10% that made the final list of admittance into the University and addressed them on the ethics and moral standards on which the school had been built upon advising them to strictly adhere to it while they embark on building their respective careers as students of the most prestigious school.
Addressing the inability of the school to provide hostel for all, he promised that very soon there will be more than enough accommodation to cater for all.

How to respond to unhappiness
They say every feeling and events comes with both the negative and positive outcome but you determine how you end as such is your responsibility either to let it make you a better person or worse.
Unhappy people have some things in common which we like to discuss and also to talk about the way every affected individual can respond to it.
Losing track of self - This happens when an individual doesn't seem to get anything right especially when it comes to life choices. You dream big but every time end ridiculing yourself in the process. All you have to do is retrace you track back and adjust the pattern of your pace.
Sacrificing too much for others above self - It is pretty disappointing when you give so much to people only for them show that all your sincere efforts were a waste of your time. Yea, you feel bad but the way out is to learn to sacrifice more for yourself even though it might sound selfish but in the end it makes you a happy person.
Failing all the time - When you allow yourself fail over and over again repeating the same mistakes you end up not wanting to give anything a try ever again. Making your failures an excuse for not wanting to improve makes you unhappy. Learn to get better anytime you fail at a task, you did get amused at what you learn and you end up a happy person growing pass your failures.
Worrying about what other people think - So many stay in the shadow of worrying about what people think for so long that they end up falling short of their standards and killing their exceptional personalities. The think is this and you have to take it or leave it, life is about not giving in to compromise, the best way to explore your potential is to express yourself how you want to, the way you want to and however,whenever you want to and that is truly a master key to happiness.
Dwelling on things you can't control - Many fights the fact that life does not present the best of choices for them. True, life is not a bed of roses, Bill gates, Steve Jobs and many of the richest people in history made it out of great odds so i believe there is no excuse. Don't get pissed at what it is for you but focus on what you can control and let other feelings that makes you hate yourself go. Just be happy with the seed you have and that 100cm piece of land cause its worth to stand a tree.

UNILAG MATRICULATES FRESH STUDENTS TOMORROW
The deal day of the fresh student’s orientation programmes
that confirms them as officially recognized
students of the University of Lagos following their making it through the storms of pre-university exams holds tomorrow 23/01/2015.
The matriculation ceremony will take place at the school's Multi-purpose hall and will start by 11am prompt.
All freshers are advised to come swear the oath while
parents, friends, families and the general public are cordially invited to come
celebrate the come great leaders of tomorrow.
UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS FACULTY OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION ELECTS NEW SET OF EXECUTIVES TODAY.
The faculty of Business Administration students' body, the
Management Student’s Association (M.S.A) today will elect in new set of student’s
executives for the 2015 session.
The election failed to hold as scheduled on the school’s calendar
last year owned to some unresolved matter that was said to be a clash between
the two presidential candidates.
The winners of the respective executive posts will be published
later today as soon as released. Election holds till 3pm.
Not to forget also that the Faculty of science student's association otherwise known as ULSSA is yet to elect a
president into office following a pending case of one of the candidate
Oluwajuwon aka 'EJA NLA' who was charged alongside past executives over a case of
misappropriation of funds during their time in office. He was the Assistant
General Secretary 2012/13 set and General Secretary 2013/14.
The date of election is yet announced but hopes it falls in
this January but till that happens elected Vice President Hassan will stay as
Acting President for the main time. Running also for the post is a much more
popular candidate who was the Vice President 2012/13 Ore Oluwatobi aka 'URBAN', a
final year and first class student of the department of Geosciences.
