UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS STUDENT UNION ELECTION TO HOLD NEXT WEEK

Prior to the return of the University of Lagos student union (ULSU), the first of its kind election to kick-off the official come-back of the union holds next week Thursday, 26-03-2015 which will also be the day when newly elected leaders will be sworn into office.
The most competitive post remains the office of the public relations officer (P.R.O) with five aspirants from all top five faculties in Akoka main campus while the office of the financial secretary and welfare stands unopposed. Vying for the presidential office is one Olusola Oshin from the Faculty of Law who looks like the favorite already amongst other two aspirants.
Forms for the electoral college that will ensure the rights of students as a member of the electorate is expected to be submitted latest today to respective faculty offices on both campuses.
There is likely to be a lecture free day too but this is yet affirmed by the school governing board.
