In the early hours of today, a fire incident was reported in one of the female hostels in newhall, Madam Tinubu Hall (MTH), akoka main campus.
Information has it that the fire was caused by one of the girls who left her electric cooker under her bed after using it late last night.

It was also reported that four girls on attempt to try save themselves from the fire outbreak got injured, twisting their legs in the process and asides that no other casualities or damage apart from the loss of properties were being accounted  for at the time of report.

...Not to forget, a like incident happened not too long ago too in one of the male hostels in newhall, Eni Njoku hall, in an incident said to be an electrical fault that sparked into a big fire.
