A US politician has criticized Barack and Michelle Obama for
allowing their children to listen to Beyonce. Mike Huckabee, a former governor,
also accused the Obamas of double standards while promoting his new book to
People’s Magazine.
He said “I don’t understand how on one hand they can be such
doting parents and so careful about the in-take of everything-how much broccoli
they eat and where they go to school….and yet they do not see anything that might not be suitable
in Beyonce’s lyrics”
He further described the pop diva’s lyrics as mental poison
and obnoxious as such regarding to her as an instrument of a pimp hubby, JayZ
who he sees as exploiting his wife. He kicked against Obama’s using such
concept to promoting his book.
