It has been confirmed that to access the hostel allocation
portal, students must first complete the payment of school fees, registration of
courses online, medicals and signing of all demanded school documents needed.
This step is to help cut down the number of traffic and
congestion online as spaces available are limited to just a few numbers of
students on what will be on the basis of first come, first to be served
exercise.
Registration is already on and students already having bed
spaces are advised to pay up in 3-working days otherwise the space stands
forfeited. The D.S.A have also issued a note of warning to anyone thinking
about squatting or breaking the rules and regulations governing allocation into
halls of residence as the University will not tolerate any one guilty of
breaching this warning.
Also, Hostels will stay open to all gender visitations but
restricted to the number of hours stipulated by the school authority of what
had been student’s tussle since the annulment of SUG in 2004 which is said to
be reviewed for operations come school’s resumption but as ULSU with no
Government attached to the sect.
