US Weather ForeCast

Temperatures across much of the northern and eastern US are plunging to dangerously cold levels, National weather service have disclosed.
In Minnesota, high winds have been forecast to drop as low as -50F (-45C). This freeze have led to the closure and late running of schools from north to south from Dakotas and Alabama.

17 US states have been warned and they are;

  • North to South of Dakota - Heavy snow and blizzard.
  • North Dakota, Fargo - Temperatures plunge of -44F (-42C)
  • Chicago - -28F (-33C) temperatures
  • Northern New York - Storm dump of snow of about 30cm foot.
  • Parts of New York - Foot "Lake-effect" snow over the next two days.
In the north and east temperatures were expected to drop further today following an arctic blast of air that could produce wind gusts of up to 40mph (64km/h).
Residents of this affected areas are advised to wear hats, scarves, thick jackets and gloves to reduce the health danger it might pose till it lasts.
